BODY

Make spa appointments. : Book your mani and pedi as well as any massage and spa appointments. Also, there are lots of bridal spa packages available in India which give you the ultimate bridal pampering.

Go for Waxing / Hair Removal : Don’t take the risk of a little body hair popping up in your wedding pictures! Hit a hair removal salon to give you some ultra-relaxing pampering to keep you hair free!

Gym : Avoid crash dieting or aggressive gym schedules 1-2 months before the wedding. It can make you look really tired and crabby. For a toned figure, consult a dietitian and a personal trainer. Start working out at least four months prior to the wedding to achieve effective weight loss, especially in problem areas like tummy and thighs.

HEALTH

Diet : You must drink enough water to keep your body toxin-free. Aim for at least 8-10 glasses of water. Opt for coconut water or lime water to shed the bloat. Eat a balanced diet consisting of fruits, green vegetables, and protein. Avoid munching on junks like chips, chocolates, ice creams, or sodas. They lead to bloating and skin problems. It’s ok to have a few cheat days, but keep them in check. Opt for healthy and nutritious snacks like fruits and sprouts.

Rest well : It may be hard to get a good night’s rest, particularly when the wedding day nears. But try to get a decent amount of sleep each day!

SKIN AND HAIR

Visit dermatologist : On the 3rd week approaching your D day, you must examine the important factors of your body such as hair, skin etc. For this expert can do better. Visit a renowned dermatologist clinic and analyze whether there are any problems in your hair and skin. If anything is found immediately go for treatment

Make a Facial Appointment : A professional skin expert will be able to clean you up, clear you out, and also identify (and help troubleshoot) skin problems. Don’t just lie there — speak up, ask questions, and find out what you should add to (or skip on) your beauty routine, what kinds of ingredients you should be looking out for to suit your skin type, and plenty of other insider info.

Visit the hair stylist and makeup artist for a practice run. : Do not do this on the same day you have your facial. But this is a very important task and every bride MUST do it. If you’re having a destination wedding, pre-schedule this appointment for as soon as possible after you arrive in your destination just in case you don’t like the results and have to make a change.

WEDDING OUTFIT

Set your final fitting. : Put those final touches on your wedding lehenga before the big day. Also, I recommend testing out shapewear ahead of time to ensure it’s comfortable.

Always carry the fabric swatch : Convince your lehenga shop person to give you a fabric swatch of the color your wedding outfit is. You might want to buy jewellery, other wedding accessories or sometimes the color coordination thing with the groom. So, to avoid any further delays in your wedding work keep this thing handy.

Do your last minute shopping for clothing, toiletries, special perfume, etc. : Make sure your fiancé has their half of the list under control. Sometimes grooms need a little help so that you don’t have to freak and stress about what they didn’t do a week before your wedding.

OTHERS

Finish your packing list — completely : making sure to list every outfit you and your fiancé will need. You should have started the list months before but this is your change to tweak and perfect it.

Meet with vendors. : About two weeks before the big day, you’ll want to call all of your vendors to make sure they’re set for the wedding. Go over what time they need to arrive, what they’ll be doing, etc. If you have a wedding planner, you can delegate this task to her.

Pack your emergency kit. : Hopefully, nothing will go wrong, but it’s best to be prepared.

AND LAST BUT NOT THE LEAST…

Take it all in. Try your best to stay stress-free and enjoy these last few weeks and days before you say I DO.
